Azénabor moved from Nigeria to Ontario with her family at age 10, then relocated to Dallas in 2011 for a graduate accounting program at Southern Methodist University. She studied accounting, but her relationship with fashion began much earlier. As a child, she took apart and reconstructed clothing, even remaking her father’s trousers with beading and new construction. She later began selling her designs on eBay while at university.

Her signature bridal gowns feature dramatic silhouettes, embellishment, detachable elements, and designs made for a bride who wants to command the room.

Today, most of his designs fuse Haiti’s natural vibrancy with refined, timeless elegance. Scorcésa creates versatile bridal pieces for women who want quality, individuality, and clothing that can move beyond one occasion.

Brandon Blackwood

Hotties describe it as leaning tropical floral with a baddie-beach vibe. Some consumers said it works for both day and night, versatile enough for whatever’s on the agenda.

It wasn’t all perfect, though. Several reviewers noted the scent fades faster than expected, usually within a few hours.

Our advice, if you’re not in the hottie realm but still want to try it for yourself, is to shop strategically. Buy the travel size first. Body chemistry changes how a fragrance wears, so what smells incredible on someone else might read differently on you.

The EDP (eau de parfum) retails for $84 for the 3 oz and $29 for the travel size (0.33 oz/10 mL).
